How Do I Add Muscle.?
I’m looking to add some muscle. Roughly 15-20 pounds. I have access to a set of 20 lb dumbells a treadmill and a stationary bike. I can also start going to the gym as soon as the wrestling season is over in two weeks. Should I take protein shake? If so what is the best brand or should I make one at home. Don’t tell me not to bulk up because that’s not what I’m asking. Thanks

Your going to want to increase weight and shorten repetitions.
First off it takes a long time to get 15-20 pounds of muscle and a lot of it has to do with genetics. You don’t need protein shakes also some of them have side effects which you can research yourself if you care. A treadmill isn’t going to do anything for you a bike once again nothing. 20 pound dumbbell not enough. Need to get bench press squat rack and bars so you can dead lift and power clean. make sure you eat protein as in meats and drink water and milk. Don’t run and lift on the same days give yourself enough time to let your muscles heal up. If you take protein take something with creating if you want results,but creating has a list of side effects which you should look up before taking it. Most proteins that don’t work have no creating in them. If you do take it don’t stop taking it and drink a lot of water so you don’t dehydrate. Do 5 sets of 5 with weight that you can only get 5-6 times take a good 4 min break between sets 3 sets of 3 on power clean. If you want endurance and strength switch up weight and reps every now and then or do 3 sets of 8, but still switch up every now and then for best results.
